20 Years!!! 2008 MMAUG Conference - Kalamazoo, MI.

I recently returned from the 20th annual Muller Martini Users Group conference in Kalamazoo, MI. The conference was hosted by The Kalamazoo Gazette. The general them for the conference was leading change and how we all need to do that ourselves and within our organizations to succeed. Of course how we do that and more importantly how we make that thinking part of our every day mindset is the trick.
Muller Martini was in prime form and had all their talent on site for various hands on training and technical break out sessions for their equipment and services. They continue to be the industry leader and innovation, customer service and commitment to success for all their users.
The conference represented 40 different properties across the US & Canada. In addition to Muller Martini and the user body, we had other industry vendors in attendance to support their products. Those included; Plumtree, EAM Mosca, Burt Technologies, The Kennedy Group, Miracom, Rockwell Automation, Dynaric, Inc., Sepac, Inc., Signode & Enternet.
The conference also offered breakout sessions on SAM, Advertising/Circulation, U.S.P.S. Speakers like Brad Black from HumanEx Ventures and the Mayor of Kalamazoo, Bobby Hopewell, were passionate about the right people in the right positions to be successful and they had the data to back up their success.
MMAUG strives to balance the technical sessions with management sessions to offer the most for the users. I cannot stress enough how vital it is for users of Muller Martini equipment to attend this conference.
